While i LOVED Paris, jet’aime, ill admit when i heard they were making a stateside version for NYC i was a little skeptical but this teailer makes me really excited to see how te idea translates for my favorite city on earth.

New York, I Love You

[The film] is being produced by Emmanuel Benbihy (Paris, jet’aime) and Marina Grasic (Crash, Smart People) with the cooperation of Marianne Maddalena (Scream, Red Eye). In New York, I Love You, the 12 segments will be connected together via transitional linking sequences. New York City is the main unifying character and the film will show the city as a living, breathing and loving whole. In the end, the audience will not only understand each individual story, but they will also see the integrated whole of chance encounters through these unique transitions.

Daily Show 9-3-08 - Throwing Their Own Words Back

I have to assume that this is the same Daily Show clip from last night that people are reTumbling. For us Canadians that can’t view those CC videos here it is on YouTube.

The best case I’ve seen yet against the disgusting hypocrisy of the past week. The sad thing is that most Republican voters will never see this clip. Now I agree that some Dems spin things but never this bad.

The other thing that pisses me off is that at least there are some Democratic pundits that look at things objectively, people like David Gergen. Gergen is as quick to knock his own party’s shortcomings as he is to build up the strengths of the opposition. The Republicans have NO ONE like this. They ALL spin things, the only variance is with what degree they spin it. This video is painful to watch.

I’m actually gonna amend my statement about the Republcans having NO ONE like this and say that Alex Castellanos has his moments of clarity.

Lets be honest, those protesters were probably provoking the cops for quite some time before this video started but for the love of god, seriouslly, what on earth could they have said that would constitutes that kind of a response.

I bought a lunch box.

I have NEVER packed my lunch. I always ate the school lunch growing up. This is all about to change.

I have always been kind of mini-obsessed with the whole “americanization” of the Bento Box culture of Japan so I finally bit the bullet and bought my very own bento box set from laptop lunches. I am so stoked!

Using a bento box forces you to waste less, eat healthier, control portions and look super awesome cool. get ready for tons of pictures of my lunches.

The Olympics are almost here. Who is stoked? I am stoked? Here are some reasons why I am stoked.

1) Oscar Pistorius
