This is plain clever, cool, and important. Earthjustice has begun a Foursquare-integrated campaign, using San Francisco’s BART system. Confused yet? Well, as the image above describes, all you have to do is check-in at Earthjustice Ad, many of which are located in BART stations, and the nonprofit will donate $10 to stop unsafe oil drilling. Campaigns like this and the Haiti/texting initiative are great ways to engage younger or tech savvy types who are conscious of these issues. Bravo on this one. via | caro
