This makes my stomach churn. My friend Chad wants me to go skydiving. I have never in my life even considered skydiving much less spent 2 hours contemplating it. The main point of contention for me is that I hate the feeling of falling. I mean I HATE it. I hate roller coasters. I have cliff diving. I hate running down the stairs to fast. That is my major concern. Not the heights. I fly a lot so that really doesn’t faze me. All that being said, this description of what sky diving feels like from Skydiving Magazine makes me, I can’t believe I am saying this, consider it:
“Freefall is not the “roller coaster drop” feeling most people expect it would be. It is a comfortable sensation of floating and support, with a slight pressure of air against your body. “
While taking advice from Skydiving Magazine about what it feels like to JUMP OUT OF A DAMN PLANE seems like a bad idea, that answer still gives me some solace. I am going to decide by tomorrow. Have any of you done this?! Tell me about it.
If I do, I am guessing that as soon as I land I will 1) propose to the nearest female, 2) Urinate on my self uncontrollably, 3) Urinate on myself while proposing to said female and, most likely urinate on her also.
PS - GOOD GOD I NEED SOME HIGH WAISTED, ACID WASHED JEANS IF I AM GOING TO JUMP LOOK AT THAT DUDE I’M NOT KIDDING, LOOK INTO HIS EYES!
